Marsha E. Freshwater

Marsha E. Freshwater, 74, formerly of Kittanning and a resident of Quality Life Services, Worthington, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 14, 1950 in Wilkinsburg, PA to Howard S. and Ilo E. (Snyder) Tyger.

Marsha was a 1972 graduate of I.U.P. She worked as a disability claims adjudicator for the PA Bureau of Disability until her retirement in Oct. of 2012. Marsha enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos.

Her memory will be cherished by brothers, Wayne H. Tyger of Wisconsin and Kerby L. Tyger of Oregon, OH; step- children, Mary Jo Round and husband Richard of Kittanning, Sally Fiscus of Worthington, Robert Freshwater and wife DeDe of Butler and 6 additional stepchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Carl E. Freshwater.

Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, PA.
