James M. Fair

James M. Fair, 70, of Parker, PA, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at his residence.

He was born October 22, 1944 in Bela, PA, the son of Robert and Nora M. (Watterson) Fair.

James was a lifetime resident of Clarion County and graduated from Allegheny Clarion Valley High School in 1963. He worked for over 30 years at Quaker State Oil Refinery, retiring in 1997. James was a talented mechanic and spent a lot of his spare time working on cars. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing. James loved spending time with his daughters, family and friends, and had a special bond with his animals. He will be best remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and willingness to help anyone in need.

His memory will be cherished by his wife of 28 years, Dorothy L. (Dunkle) Fair; daughters, Peggy Kephart and companion, Jack McFarland, of Blairsville, Della Fair, of Port Allegany, and Lisa Aikens and husband, Tim, of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way; and very special sister, Carol Craig, of Rimersburg.

James was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tammy Austin; grandson, Bradley Kephart; and brothers, Fritz and Dan Fair.

At the family's request, services will be private.
